Morning in the city of Bucharest. A fresh, new day to hunt for vampires. But my quest was put on hold because, unlike the immortal creatures I sought, I needed breakfast.
Luckily, I found a cafe dedicated to one of my favorite artists, Vincent van Gogh. The decor was otherworldly. The food was delicious. I left the cafe satiated and brimming with enough sunshine and starlight to shield against any darkness.
The experience tinted everything that day with colorful waves of energy. I found art everywhere: Umbrella Street, the Macca-Villacrosse Passage, intersections, and city squares. I saw cafe terraces, flowers, rain, and space, stories told in vibrant new ways.
Warm and welcoming, the fun finds made the strange experience from the previous night fade away. I was of the sun and stars, and nothing would stand in my way.
That’s what I believed.
